SMALL CONTRIBUTIONS, BIG PROJECTS

This is a brief report about the donations that LAUMAS has chosen to make recently to support some voluntary associations in our area. It seems useful to us to raise awareness of their deserving projects.

In January 2018 and March 2019, we supported the Italian Cystic Fibrosis League in Emilia, an association that since 1986 has been dealing with the fight against the genetic disease that affects one child for every 2,500 born in Emilia. The aim of the League is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families through practical acts of solidarity aimed at strengthening public services.

In January 2019, LAUMAS supported the Alzheimer Support Group Fidenza, an association of volunteers founded in 2004 to support people with cognitive disorders and especially to give support to their families. Specifically, we believed in their "Centro di Incontro Insieme” (Meeting Together Centre) project, a meeting place that aims to foster social inclusion and global reactivation of people with Alzheimer's in Fidenza, whilst providing support to the family member who is responsible for looking after them.
