A new advanced medical station for Croce Azzurra health charity

An immediate response that can make a difference.

With the contribution of LAUMAS and other companies on the territory, a special tent of the Traversetolo branch of Croce Azzurra has been equipped with a new advanced medical station: a real field hospital with 4 beds and suitable equipment to accommodate, rescue and stabilize patients and also carry out triage activities.

The project was born from the desire to provide the territory with a facility equipped to answer every type of required intervention, from healthcare to logistics.
According to need, in fact, the tent can accommodate and treat people evacuated from fires, earthquakes, landslides and other emergency events, but also host a coordination station for activities related to major sporting events, fairs, concerts etc

If necessary, the facility can be dropped from a plane, to reach the most difficult areas that cannot be reached by land.
In collaboration with Team Folgore, an emergency simulation was made, complete with parachuting, retrieval, assembly and operational testing.
Now the facility has been registered and, in case of need, in just 3 hours it can be launched and become operative.

The new advanced medical station allows the association, which operates in the municipalities of Traversetolo, Montechiarugolo and Neviano, to intervene immediately at the service of its territory, but it is also available to other associations, even outside the province of Parma, in the spirit of aid and cooperation typical of Croce Azzurra.
